Oliver’s Ride a Day Story
Oliver House, who is a long term member of Studio ARTES, created Ride a Day in My Wheels as a way to increase public awareness of what it is like to be in a wheelchair.
Ride a Day in My Wheels is held in celebration of the International Day of People With Disability. Riders are invited to sign up to ride and fundraise for Studio ARTES in a challenge day around Hornsby Mall. Are you up for the challenge?

Carers Week Celebrations
16-20 October, 2017
Studio ARTES celebrated Carers Week in October 2017, to help raise awareness of carers, the caring role and relationships, and carer supports and services. We celebrated Carers Week as we wanted to let our carers know how much their contribution means! Throughout the week, our sessions focused on celebrating carers and all that they contribute. We also invited parents and carers to attend our ‘Carers Open Day’ event where we invited guests to join in on our programs for our afternoon sessions. We also invited external services to come so guests could ask them questions about the services they provide.
The above video was created by our Multimedia group as a way to show support for carers and further raise awareness!
