Service Manager, Performing Arts
Rebecca graduated from Macquarie University in 2012, with a Bachelor of Creative Arts majoring in dance, drama and performance. From a young age, Rebecca has performed and trained in dance and musical theatre. She has contributed to various musical theatre productions as a choreographer, producer and performer.
Rebecca has enjoyed working on festivals and events, including the Sydney Fringe Festival (2012), Arts Activated Conference (2012), and The Helpmann Awards (2012). Her roles at these fast paced exclusive events extended from project management to event and technical support. Her roles included team recruitment and management, photography, event coordination, artist liaison and event marketing.
Rebecca is a passionate advocate for artists with a disability. This has lead her to work in a variety of different organisations including Accessible Arts (2012 – 2014), the peak body for arts and disability in NSW. Here Rebecca contributed to projects including the Amplify your Art grant program, Delineate grant program and Catalyst Dance Masterclass Series. Rebecca has also had the opportunity to work at Ausdance NSW (2014), the peak body for dance.
