Performing Arts, Coordinator:
Amy began working across all programs at Studio ARTES in 2006. With many years of experience as a dancer and choreographer including the running her own dance school, Amy began to offer dance classes at Studio ARTES. The popularity of these early classes led to Amy founding the Performing Arts program as it stands today. Amy was responsible for starting up many Studio performances including the development of an annual show, plus ‘the ball performance’ which has become a major highlight of the annual Studio ARTES ball.
Amy recently completed her Certificate IV in Disabilities and loves being able to combine her passion for working with people with disabilities alongside her love of dance. She enjoys seeing the growth in confidence and creativity in the many members that take part in the Performing Arts program, as well as assisting them to bring their own stories and characters to life on the stage.
When Amy is not dancing her days away with Studio ARTES members, she keeps herself busy running around after her two energetic young boys.
