Hayley has over seven years experience working in the human and community services sectors and is passionate about using creativity and person centred approaches when working alongside people affected by intellectual, developmental and mental health disabilities.
She believes in creating opportunities for choice, inclusion and independence for the individuals she supports, as they work towards achieving their personal goals.
Hayley completed an Honours degree in Fine Arts majoring in studio based practice and research, followed by a Maters in Arts Therapy from the University of Western Sydney. Here she gained experience in group facilitation and supporting clients who identify as artists as well as those making art for therapeutic and recreational purposes in an art studio context.
Hayley believes that the combination of her interests and experience allow her to appreciate both the personal and facilitative perspectives of the creative process.
